SANAE Collective is an independent curatorial platform founded by Tine De Beck. Based in Switzerland and working internationally, it brings together designers, artists and makers through exhibitions and collaborations that explore the relationships between objects, materials and place.

Tine’s experience across art, design and interiors in Europe and the Middle East, including her work with Axel Vervoordt and studies at Sotheby’s in London, shapes the collective’s perspective. Her approach begins with an attention to how things are made, the knowledge they carry and the ways their meaning evolves in different settings.

Through close dialogue with its collaborators, SANAE develops presentations in which individual practices meet and new connections emerge. This approach takes shape in projects such as The Poetics of Material and Space at Cà Na Serra in Portugal, which brought Belgian design into conversation with the architecture and landscape of Melides, and Traces of the Desert Light for Design Doha Biennale 2026, bringing Belgian and Middle Eastern designers together around material, light and cultural exchange.

The collective shares its sensibility with Atelier SANAE, her interior design studio. While the collective develops exhibitions and exchanges between creative practices, the atelier shapes interiors through spatial planning, natural materials and the integration of art and design. Both reflect a belief that objects and spaces gain depth through the relationships we build around them.
